Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis of significant talent, distribution and equity deals for live action and feature animation studios, support business affairs in deal negotiations.
• For theatrical and direct-to-consumer content, evaluate lifetime profit/loss, IRR, NPV and streaming performance metrics to inform greenlight and internal planning processes.
• Develop and maintain film ultimate P&Ls from development to release. Partner with distribution units to establish and understand P&L economics.
• Create and manage current year, Annual Operating Plan and Five Year Plan Studio theatrical and direct-to-consumer content slates. Maintain current year slate to ensure accurate forecasting of studio profitability. Field inquiries regarding content slates from studio & DTC finance counterparts.
• Manage production costs for historical and future theatrical and DTC titles.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis on theatrical slate & P&L sensitivities, historical film performance, industry trends, and competitive studios.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and or/Finance, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of financial modeling and analysis experience
• Very strong Excel skills
• Excellent quantitative skills
• Comfort with constantly changing priorities
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Experience in evaluating film finance deals at a major studio a plus
• Knowledge of the Entertainment industry and industry trends

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $124,900 to $152,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
