Pro Tools Engineer/Video Editor News (Marketing COE) NYC

The ABC News Marketing & Creative team is seeking a Pro Tools Engineer/Video Editor who can deliver unique marketing content and inspired creative.

This role will report to the Senior Vice President of ABC News Marketing & Creative and play an exciting role in the creation, production, and delivery of ABC News marketing creative. The work includes promos, original trailers, audio commercials and sizzles.

If you are super creative and technically gifted, and fluent/experienced with Pro Tools, Avid, and Adobe Premiere, then this is the job for you! Please be sure to include links to your portfolio or reels.

Responsibilities:
• The successful editor and sound-designer will be mixing audio and video for promos, trailers, audio commercials, and sizzles - supporting all our shows and platforms, linear and streaming. These include Good Morning America, World News Tonight with David Muir, 2020, This Week w/George, Prime specials, The View, GMA3, as well as 'ABC News Studios on Hulu' titles.
• This person will also be producing and editing video promos in Avid Media Composer and/or Adobe Premiere.

Basic Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience working as an audio/sound engineer or editor using Pro Tools required.
• 1+ years of experience working as a video editor in Avid and or Premiere Pro.
• Experience working in a fast paced environment that requires high attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Only resumes with working links/portfolios will be reviewed.
• Must live within a commutable distance to offices in NYC. We are onsite 4+ days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience at a network, studio, or media agency is a plus.

Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $114,500 to $157,400 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
