Job Summary
We are looking for a PR Manager to join our team who loves great TV. This role is built around two parts of our business.
The core part of the role will see you work on the EMEA Originals part of our business. This means writing greenlight announcement through to shaping TX campaigns. This may mean running the campaign or working closely with local markets to help them deliver campaigns for local originals that we've announced so far.
Secondly, you may at key points throughout the year support the other two senior managers on either global general entertainment or brand campaigns. Alongside the publicist, your role is to ensure creative executions and excellence across global shows such as Shogun or moments such as Summer.

This is an office-based role. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).
The Opportunity & Responsibilities
• You will devise and create publicity strategies both for the UK and EMEA, implementing targeted campaigns for priority programmes coming to Disney+
• This role will have a particular focus on supporting high profile and key priority content from our Disney+ European Originals
• You will report into the Senior PR Manager for Originals and support stakeholder management both regionally and globally to ensure out titles launch successfully
• In our team collaboration is key, you will be working with marketing and social, corporate communications, all US based teams in LA and New York, independent production companies, agents and personal publicists to maximise opportunities and devise fully cohesive and innovative publicity campaigns.
• This role also involves some internal comms including briefing notes for executive and contributing to townhall content
• You will speak to a wide range of UK media, but namely TV and consumer press and lead by example to the wider team
• Potential travel required as business dependencies dictate
The Experience We Require From You
• You love TV publicity, with a clear understanding of what's needed to secure brilliant outcomes for a campaign. With that, you have an established UK media network.
• A strategic comms mindset – you look at the bigger picture for a title or brand campaign and think about how to get the best comms outcomes. You challenge the norm, and think of new ways to secure coverage.
• Demonstrable creative flair and strategic thinking, with a keen interest in and understanding of the media and broadcast industry
• You are confident owning channel branded campaigns end to end and are highly self-motivated with the ability to manage campaigns with a range of stakeholders.
• You think about evaluation at the start of your campaign, set clear KPIs that measure your work and take learnings onboard.
• You are able to and have experience of consistently managing multiple projects simultaneously and remain highly focused and flexible whilst working under pressure
• You have worked with a range of stakeholders – this role works in a large, matrix' d organization
• You must be a self-starter, team player with a genuine enthusiasm for communications and public relations
• You have experience handling senior stakeholders with a corporate team, and owning a crisis – big or small and have been involved in reactive planning or crisis handling
• You are passionate about great TV – across genres, and are able to channel this into your work being consistently curious and looking for ways to innovate
• A background in in-house comms for a streaming service or media company would be preferred but not essential
