About the Role & Team

Disney Advertising drives the advertising revenue across platforms for the entire media portfolio – including ABC, ESPN, Hulu, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, Disney Channels Worldwide, and more. The Sales Enablement teams missions is to provide a unified client service experience with ease and automation to drive revenue more effectively. Our Portfolio Support team provides Tier One support, Learning and Communications across the many systems that are used by Disney Advertising portfolio. A successful candidate understands the advertising industry; is support focused, a driven self-starter with strong training and communication skills, and understands the Salesforce platform, addressable and linear business processes. The Manager, Portfolio Support, will partner with the Portfolio Management team, Ad Platforms, and other Sales Enablement team members to ensure successful support, training and communication related to the Disney Adverting tool set. The individual will report to the Director, Portfolio Support, Sales Enablement.

What You Will Do
• Oversee tier one support, training, and communications for all our CRM, Addressable and Linear tools utilized by Disney Advertising
• Develop a deep understanding of the current platforms used by Disney Advertising to successfully support the applications
• Establish trust as the go-to partner for all users across Linear, Addressable and CRM workstreams
• Oversee ownership of user support requests submitted via the designated support SLACK channel
• Support the Investigation of reported user issues to pinpoint their root causes and propose potential solutions
• Escalate system glitches and bugs to the appropriate technology resources
• Champion best practices and capabilities to enhance the user experience within the application
• Collaborate with the Portfolio Management as well as Audience and Automation teams to stay current on Roadmap features and functionality
• Analyze user adoption trends and offer feedback to the Portfolio Management team for necessary improvements
• Responsible for developing the communication plan for issues, escalations, releases, events as well as other key initiatives
• Engage in cross training with peers on Linear, Addressable, and other platforms as required
• Leverage analytics to support training and product needs, sharing these insights to Portfolio Management for backlog prioritization
• Enhance and streamline communication to sales teams regarding new releases, updates, and issues in collaboration with counterparts and leadership, ensuring consistent messaging to the user community
• Organize feedback sessions with user community to continuously enhance training and support of the application
• Develop materials and tools essential for onboarding new users and existing users, fostering enthusiasm for system training and the tool
• Strategically plan and schedule training sessions in coordination across the Sales Enablement team
• Develop training methodology and identify learning tools that be used to support the Ad Sales organization
• Oversee creation of training materials in a concise and learner friendly manner for all system
• Serve as the primary trainer for the CRM, Addressable and Linear tool sets
• Develop training methodology, materials, take the lead training users and provide excitement around the various systems
• Responsible for creating the plan and facilitation of sending out Communications related to releases, issues and updates based on system
• Manage Associate Managers – Portfolio Support

Required Qualifications & Skills
• 5+ years of experience in Linear & Addressable Advertising Operations, Sales Enablement or Business Intelligence
• A solid understanding Sales business and media markets/business models
• Prior experience integrating internal work and resources with outside vendors/partners
• Proven track record of managing business needs against technology requirements
• Demonstrated ability to take concepts from definition to development and launch
• Experience with managing enterprise software, infrastructure services and/or software as a service offerings
• Experience creating product roadmaps, MRDs, PRDs and written product evaluations
• Ability to anticipate, identify and articulate the impact of emerging industry trends on the business
• Experience working in a large enterprise, while also knowing how to be a very hands-on manager and sole contributor
• Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal and problem-solving communication skills
• Experience working with cross functional teams in matrix environment
• Excellent relationship management and negotiating skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a product management, vendor management or planning role is preferred
• Thorough understanding of Linear and digital advertising and related technologies; Wide Orbit, OnAir, Blue Yonder, AdVisor, Operative, Google Ad Manager and/or Salesforce.com systems integration and/or implementation experience a plus
• Passion for understanding and serving the unique Disney community

Preferred Education:

Degree in Business Management, Product Development, Computer Science or related field; MBA or equivalent a plus.

The hiring range for this position in New York is $126,000 - $157,400 per year, and in Los Angeles, CA is $123,000 - $150,200 per year and in Seattle, WA, is $126,000 - $157,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
