Disney Advertising Sales (DAS) drives the advertising revenue across platforms for the entire media portfolio – including Disney+, Hulu, ABC, ESPN, Freeform, FX, National Geographic, Disney Channels Worldwide, and more.

The Sales Enablement team's mission is to empower our sales organization by delivering an exceptional client service experience with a strong emphasis on addressability, automation, and unification. Through effective change management, we prepare the sales organization to adapt to new workflow, processes and system migrations through the unification and convergence of ad technology.

The successful candidate acts as a partner with Ad Platforms teams, ensuring Disney Advertising has the right blend of nimble and core solutions that enhance revenue, manage scale and extend our audience.

Job Summary:

In this role, the Manager has one direct report: an Associate Manager, Sales Enablement. The individual reports to the Senior Manager, Sales Enablement, Addressable. Key Focus Areas for the Sales Enablement Addressable Team:
• Collaborate with internal partners and functional leadership across Disney Advertising & TWDC to influence and develop the addressable advertising product roadmap and consult on core platform implications. Ensure accountability & delivery on new features and functionality.
• Partner with leader to effectively manage partnerships between Disney Advertising stakeholders and Ad Platforms on intake projects, product roadmap development progress, prioritization, key issues and user feedback.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with all levels of the organization (senior management, functional leadership, staff and contacts in other TWDC segments) to achieve objectives on time, within budget and to specifications.
• Plan and execute implementations for new business processes within the toolsets.
• Develop, design, track, test and report progress against plans for all technical components of the Disney advertising technical ecosystem, including requested improvements, customizations, integrations and/or platform driven releases for Operative, IFP, Google Ad Manager, Disney Ad Server, Mission Control and other internal/external solutions.
• Manage the prioritization, scope of work, objectives, quality of deliverables, and other activities of large, complex releases and/or multiple small releases, including cross platform implications, new technical solutions, and continuous business process improvements from start to finish.
• Track progress/dependencies, communicate objectives/status, identify & escalate roadblocks, continuously assess risk factors, and recommend appropriate mitigation actions/strategies.
• Impact the business through effective delegation and accountability while also delivering results as a ''sole contributor'' where/when necessary to get the job done.
• Submit intake tickets from Disney Advertising stakeholders and attend regular meetings with Ad Platforms to review intake projects and status.
• Partner with Disney Advertising stakeholders to capture needs, light requirements and prioritize improvements.
• Plan, schedule and facilitate training; partner with Portfolio Support, lead material creation and lead sessions as applicable.
• Acquire, coach, train and develop qualified talent including virtual teams across functional, regional, and business unit boundaries as necessary to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
• Focus on major areas of work, typically 20% or more of role
• Manage the prioritization, scope of work, objectives, quality of deliverables, and other activities of initiatives, complex releases and/or multiple small releases.
• Plan and execute implementations for new business processes within the toolsets.
• Lead change management efforts including managing readiness, testing, training and communications.
• Acquire, coach, train and develop talent.

Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in Advertising Operations, Media Planning, Sales Enablement or related experience
• 7+ years business and digital experience, preferred
• Fluent or very familiar with all aspects of Addressable media within the advertising business
• Experience with advertising platforms, order management, forecasting, ad serving and creative trafficking tools
• Thorough understanding of digital advertising and related technologies; Operative, Google Ad Manager and/or Salesforce.com systems integration and/or implementation experience a plus
• Proven track record of managing business needs against technology requirements
• Prior experience with system migrations planning, testing and training a plus
• Demonstrated ability to take concepts from definition to development and launch
• Ability to anticipate, identify and articulate the impact of emerging industry trends on the business
• Experience working in a large enterprise, while also knowing how to be a very hands-on manager and sole contributor
• Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal and problem-solving communication skills
• Highly skilled at relationship building at multilevel levels of leadership, across a wide span of functions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, time management and follow through
• A passion for the media business and understanding of Disney's position in the marketplace

Preferred Education:
• Degree in Business Management, Product Development or related field desired; MBA or equivalent a plus.

The hiring range for this position in California is $124,900.00 to $152,500.00 per year and in New York is $130,800.00 to $159,800.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
