As a Data Analyst Apprentice, within The Walt Disney Company Media Networks Research Department, you will work works across Disney Channel, Baby TV, National Geographic and Star channels and content. This role is part of the Cross-platform and Data Operations team, with a focus on collecting and organising multiple data sources (e.g. linear TV rating, video-on-demand views, and digital metrics) and ensuring an efficient data flow into a range of products and analysis tools.
This role's daily activities are dedicated to extracting, cleaning and aggregating data to back reports, dashboards, and insightful research analysis.
A Data Analyst Apprentice has a genuine interest in data analytics and database structures with a creative approach on how to process and deliver outcomes to different stakeholders across a range of projects.

This opportunity is based in Disney's Hammersmith Office and will require you to be on-site four days per week.
Responsibilities
• Develop the ability to extract a variety of data points via internal and external systems to support the team and stakeholders
• Learn to process a variety of data sources such as YouTube and/or social media listening tools in regular content analysis evaluation
• Support the Senior Analyst in due diligence activities for newly adopted tools, assessing data robustness and reliability
• Creation and development of ad-hoc dashboards for business needs (e.g. Subscription Video on Demand viewing)
• Ownership in maintaining and updating centralised cross-platform data classification dictionaries to the highest standards of accuracy
• Partnering with the Technology department's Data Platforms team to support the development and maintenance of databases
• Build independent relationships and be comfortable presenting across functions and lines of business
Eligibility
• Must have achieved or be on target to achieve two C's or above at A Levels (or equivalent qualification)
• Must have achieved 5 grades 4 - 9 at GCSE (C or above) including Maths and English
• Must have the right to work in the UK already in place
• Available to start the Apprenticeship in September 2024

This is an Apprenticeship, so we are looking for potential and we do not expect you to have all the skills and knowledge related to the role. We want to see your enthusiasm, eagerness to learn on the job and commitment to your apprenticeship studies. The ideal candidate will have:
