Job Description
Disney Advertising is seeking a results-driven and strategic Director of Performance Marketing Sales to lead a high-performing sales team driving revenue across Disney's extensive portfolio of properties. You will represent iconic brands including Disney+, Hulu, ESPN App, ESPN Networks, ABC, ABC News, FX, National Geographic, Freeform, Disney Channel, and Disney Social Extensions.

In this role, you will oversee a team of Account Executives and Associate Account Executives, focusing on delivering performance-driven advertising solutions through Addressable, Linear, Automation, and Data channels. As the escalation point for all media buys, you will ensure strategic execution and drive the adoption of advanced sponsorship packages, data agreements, and innovative ad technology solutions.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in managing multimedia sales teams, a deep understanding of Addressable and Programmatic ecosystems, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment while achieving ambitious revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and mentor a team of 6-8 Account Executives and Associate Account Executives, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
• Set individual revenue goals, track success, and implement strategies to exceed targets.
• Build and maintain the performance sales pipeline with a focus on client-direct, programmatic and solutions sales.
• Develop new business opportunities, strategically engaging with top marketers and agency holding groups.
• Drive revenue growth through advanced sponsorships, cross-platform integrations, and data-driven products.
• Work closely with Finance, Planning, Operations, Solutions, and cross-functional sales teams to optimize the sales process and ensure seamless execution.
• Collaborate with product teams to provide insights on competitive activity, identify product gaps, and recommend enhancements to meet customer needs.
• Actively participate in industry initiatives and forums related to performance and data-driven sales.
• Stay ahead of marketplace trends, providing innovative strategies to maintain Disney's leadership in the performance advertising landscape.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in digital media sales, with a strong emphasis on performance marketing.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and surpass revenue targets.
• Deep understanding of the performance advertising ecosystem, including Addressable, Programmatic, and Data ad technologies.
• Strong knowledge of key stakeholders within agency holding groups and client-direct businesses.
• Demonstrated success in managing multimedia sales teams and driving cross-platform revenue growth.
• Experience in identifying new business opportunities and developing innovative product solutions to meet client needs.
• Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong relationships across internal and external teams.
• Skilled in navigating complex organizational structures and solving challenges with a collaborative approach.
• Comprehensive understanding of client priorities and performance goals, with the ability to align Disney's product portfolio to fulfill those needs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, make quick decisions, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The hiring range for this position is $231,600 - $283,000. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
