The Digital Marketing Center of Excellence Operations Team supports the Disney Entertainment Theatrical & Brand Marketing Teams. This group is responsible for leading and overseeing Business Operations, YouTube Operations, and Social Platform Operations, the management of YouTube policies, monetization of channels, account governance, and the centralization of tools, vendors, and systems. Additionally, this team works closely with Tech, IT, Anti-Piracy, Legal, Finance, and Platforms on product and feature rollouts, vendor management, and payments, and serves as the main point of contact for all Social & YouTube Best Practices for the COE.
Job Summary:
Reporting into the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Operations, the Digital Marketing Operations Specialist will support The Disney Entertainment Digital Marketing COE Operations team . Working closely with our Brand, Studio, and Title Marketing teams to support day-to-day operational requests, including vendor sourcing, contract management, supporting the Disney Entertainment Digital Marketing COE payment & invoicing processes to support Procurement , and working closely with content Leads to understand Brand goals, budgeting needs, and contracting requirements, partnering with Legal and Finance to communicate timelines and execute against key priorities.
The Digital Marketing Operations Specialist will play a key role in supporting content production teams by working with YouTube's external production vendors, managing and tracking production budgets, ensuring allocated budgets and contracted spends are appropriately accrued against financial projections, and providing monthly and quarterly reporting to help inform strategic decisions.
This role will track content, localization, and tool cost, and will be responsible for reporting overall budget spend and flagging any issues or overages.
The Digital Marketing Operations Specialist must be a strong multi-tasker and have an advanced understanding of budgeting, tracking, and reporting costs. They must be knowledgeable of all social, digital, and emerging platforms, and should be able to oversee multiple projects and workflows within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Finance and Accounting to manage and track contractual obligation and content development expenses across The Disney Entertainment Digital Marketing COE Org.
• Partner with content Leads to support invoice submissions to the Procurement Team to ensure they're able to execute payment processing , troubleshooting, vendor setup, and Contingent Workforce Management approvals.
• Ensure that all invoice submissions are tracked according to The Walt Disney Company's standard guidelines and coded to the appropriate Business Unit coding.
• Liaise between MFK & GA content Leads, Legal, Privacy, Global Information Security, Platforms, 3 rd party vendors/agencies, and domestic + international business partners.
• Work closely with Legal, Finance, and internal stakeholders to support contract conversations and executions between 3 rd party agencies, freelancers, contractors, and vendors.
• Track overall budget and content development spend against the overall approved annual allocated amount and flag any issues or overages to Finance.
• Assist with contracting budgeting , production management, and logistics for Digital COE productions as needed by the creative team.
• Provide overall cost reports to Finance and Executive Leadership on a monthly and quarterly basis to track and plan for annual financial budgets.
Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in a related role
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
• Previous experience with CRM tools – Salesforce, AirTable , Zendesk, AirTable
• Strong understanding of social media platforms required such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tik Tok.
• Excellent computer skills with proficient knowledge of Keynote, Word, Google docs, and Excel.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills coupled with the ability to communicate and implement operational processes
• Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborative and strong team player.
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing workplace
• Ability to work on multiple projects over a long period
of time
Required Experience/Education:
BA in communication, marketing, business administration, digital marketing, or relevant degree
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, California is $73,600.00 to $95.100.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
