As part of The Walt Disney Company's Studio and Integrated Marketing team, the Content Planning Executive is responsible for supporting the Senior Brand and Content Manager in the development of content marketing strategies and executing content plans in partnership with the broader marketing, event, and partnerships teams.

You will assist in developing and executing content strategy, maintaining content calendars, identifying any gaps and being proactive with solutions. You will work collaboratively with the marketing, social and creative teams to develop the most effective content, creative formats, and distribution plans.

Your main areas of responsibility will include:
• Under the direction of the Senior Brand and Content Manager, support the creation of the content strategy and plan; utilising global assets and developing a plan for local content as required.
• Partner with internal creative teams and external creative agencies and third parties on asset creation, ensuring assets are on strategy.
• Ongoing management of cross business calendars to ensure key beats throughout the year are communicated clearly to the broader integrated marketing team.
• Support the distribution and amplification of content via owned, shared and bought media channels, briefing and managing agency relationships as required.
• Ensure campaign learnings are generated and disseminated to all stakeholders and the agreed learnings are actioned within future campaigns
• Prioritising local distribution of global micro-content in line with overarching strategy

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
• Tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce/Marketing, or related field
• Intermediate understanding of media with experience managing agency relationships
• Intermediate understanding of social media and experience managing social campaigns
• Collaborative, can-do approach to your day with an enthusiasm for new experiences
• Flexibility and adaptability - able to deal with ambiguity and changing landscapes
• Creative thinking with the ability to consider other perspectives and ways of operating
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
