Job Description
Disney Advertising Sales' Research Enablement team is seeking an Analyst to join their group, where you will play a role in demonstrating to advertisers Disney brands and platforms are the premiere places to reach and engage consumers while growing their brands. In this role, you will work closely with your manager and senior team members to gather, analyze, and report on advertiser spend trends and marketplace data. As part of the team, you'll stay up-to-date on industry developments, collaborate with various departments, and contribute to impactful research that informs strategic decisions. Additionally, you will help maintain content performance estimates across Disney's portfolio and help communicate key insights to various stakeholders across the business.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
• Construct Media Spend Analysis: Use research tools and resources to help analyze media-wide advertiser spending trends. Provide detailed data and insights to internal teams.
• Support Ad Sales Performance Estimates: Help maintain ad sales performance estimates within Disney's ad platform by regularly updating and ensuring the accuracy of the data.
• Data Organization & Report Preparation: Run and organize data for advertiser spend reports and market intelligence materials. Summarize insights and ensure clarity in documents shared with stakeholders.
• Collaborate on Research Projects: Work with DAS research counterparts to support the creation of research materials that highlight Disney's unique strengths and value to advertisers.

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
• 2+ years of work experience in related field
• Demonstrates a strong analytical ability, attention to detail, critical thinking, and a proactive problem-solving approach
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
• Familiarity with Nielsen Media Research metrics and related media research tools (NPower, Ad Intel, Pathmatics) is a plus
• Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tools is a plus
• Ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• A strong interest in the media and entertainment industry
• Degree in Communications, Media Studies, Statistics, Marketing or other relevant discipline preferred

The hiring range for this position in New York is $74,300 to $99,600 per year and in California is $71,000 to $95,100 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
