We are seeking an exceptional Product Manager to be the primary resource in developing, maturing, and standardizing measurable and actionable messaging KPIs across Disney Streaming. This Product Manager will also drive the development of new messaging insights capabilities for the Core Message Platform. As part of the rapidly growing Messaging Services team within Lifecycle Product, you will lead key aspects of our messaging insights strategy by surfacing new opportunities for Messaging through a data driven lens. The role will focus on using messaging insights to weave a story that will allow our stakeholders to better understand key indicators from users interacting with our messaging. You will look to become the day-to-day central point of contact for all messaging insights related questions, issues and ad-hoc requests across the ecosystem.

This role is highly cross-organizational and cross-functional. You will look to partner with peer Product leads within the LifeCycle Product team, as well as collaborate with a wide breadth of Product and Engineering teams across different functions and domains. You must be able to thrive in ambiguity, be able to take unfocused requests and convert them into actionable to-dos, and communicate effectively to stakeholders at peer levels throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:
• Define, build, and drive evolution of messaging-related metrics that can be relied on to prove out successes and deficiencies in current experiences and capabilities; consistently use these to build cases for roadmap prioritization
• Responsible for measuring the impact and successes of messaging features, and helping the business understand key trends to determine trade offs & ROI in order to help Messaging scale effectively
• Drive and champion messaging KPI's and push the envelope for messaging SLAs and operational efficiencies
• Proactively socialize insights, dashboards, and reports with technical and non-technical audiences, soliciting feedback on where to improve
• Develop detailed success measures for messaging use cases that stakeholder teams can leverage to drive business decisions.
• Fill in gaps across roles and functions as needed, performing as an adaptive problem solver
• Champion a collaborative work environment that cultivates shared understanding, transparency, autonomy, innovation, and continuous learning

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Product Management experience within Messaging, preferably at the Product Platform level.
• Exposure and familiarity with digital engagement, transactional messaging data as well as other messaging delivery metrics.
• Skilled at identifying key issues/questions, analyzing/visualizing data and then telling a compelling story to senior business partners and key stakeholders to help influence and/or determine important decisions.
• Experience building dashboards using Tableau, Looker, or similar software - with proficiency in creating insightful visualizations by breaking down large datasets.
• 3+ years experience writing SQL queries
• Comfortable with ambiguity and working independently to find and to resolve issues with minimal guidance
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complicated findings or technical approaches in easy-to-understand ways
• Knowledge of Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics is a plus.
• Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment to problem solve, while keeping an objective focus on achieving business value
• Ability to learn quickly about multiple functional areas across Disney Streaming
• Bachelor's degree with educational background in Behavioral Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
