Position: Service Desk Analyst
Location: Hollywood, CA (Onsite)
*Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00 USD hourly
The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for providing end user support for all applications software, network infrastructure and computing devices and peripherals. The technician will troubleshoot issues that have been escalated from support staff. This includes working with internal and external resources, coordination of vendors and suppliers, and direct support to end-users.
MAIN DUTIES:
The Service Desk Analyst will primarily be responsible for hardware and software support, user support, asset management, and network support. They will also be responsible for documentation and reporting, consultation and recommendations, and security and compliance. Main duties outlined below:
Hardware and Software Support:
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for computer hardware, peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.), and software applications.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems, operating systems, and software applications.
• Performing software updates, patches, and upgrades.
User Support:
• Provide in-person and remote support for a range of technical issues including cellular, GUI, WIFI, and other common support issues in an enterprise office environment.
• Providing guidance and training to users on the effective use of computer systems and applications.
• Assisting users with basic troubleshooting and resolving common issues.
Asset Management:
• Maintaining an inventory of computer hardware, software, and related equipment.
• Tracking and managing the lifecycle of computer assets, including deployments, replacements, and disposals.
Network Support:
• Assisting with basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
• Setting up and configuring network printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Creating and maintaining documentation related to computer systems, software installations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Documenting issues and resolutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Providing regular reports on support activities and system health.
Consultation and Recommendations:
• Providing recommendations on hardware and software upgrades or replacements.
• Advising users and management on best practices and optimal use of computer systems and applications.
Security and Compliance:
• Ensuring that computer systems and software are secure and comply with organizational policies and regulations.
• Implementing security measures, such as antivirus software and access controls.
WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate will be well-experienced in a desktop support role, or have the educational equivalent. They must have the ability to independently run projects and/or related tasks to an overall project. They must be able to discern project objectives, understand their role and responsibilities and complete all related tasks in the prescribed allotted schedule. They will be an expert with Macintosh hardware and OSX software and Windows PC OS Software. Skill sets to include understanding of hardware upgrades/replacements. They will bring prior working experienced in installation of software and troubleshooting both Windows and Mac OS platforms. Additional desired skills include:
• Experience working with Office 365 for PC and Office 365 for MAC and other Microsoft products.
• Understanding of enterprise supported technologies including but not limited to VoIP, TCP/IP, DHCP, Office 365, AD.
• Understanding of Enterprise supported tool kits, including Imaging software, Security End-point software, Asset Management software.
• Understanding and ability to support end-user mobile devices for activations, active sync configuration, general usability support.
• Understanding of supporting user level issues with voice technologies including Cisco VOIP and Voicemail.
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN systems and topology.
• Ability to interact with internal and external customers, as well as vendors to resolve issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Previous experience in a post-production environment is preferred.

The benefits for eligible part-time employees working 25 or more hours per week and full-time employees in the US include a comprehensive package of health, retirement, and insurance benefits and paid time off.
