Job Description
As a Specialist Field Producer, you will work alongside CNN's Chief International Security Correspondent and a dedicated photojournalist. You will work from the London bureau under the guidance of the Directors of News and be responsible for delivering award-winning content for all CNN platforms.

Newsgathering distinctive stories will be your number one priority, focusing on the International Security beat. Output can range from a short digital video to a written article, or one-hour documentary. Subject matter can vary widely from elephant conservation to immigration and climate but often focuses on conflicts and security.

As an experienced field producer, you have a strong editorial voice and are confident with the logistics and compliance procedures required to get a story over the line. You are a confident executive editor of a longer form project, or a 6-minute TV package, with clear ideas on what works with audiences and algorithms. You are responsible for clear and accurate communication with our bureau and desk teams. Responding to breaking news is a key part of this role.
