Job Description
The Specialist , Business Development will assist the Business Development team in the growth and execution of CNN Commerce team's Sponsored Revenue business . In this role, the Specialist , Business Development will work with both internal and external parties to create additional
opportunities for expansion , through relationship building, performance analysis, and customer satisfaction. This role is deeply integrated with CNN Commerce's flagship product, CNN Underscored. CNN Underscored is CNN's product recommendations and reviews site, which primarily generates revenue through the monetization of content via affiliate partnerships. Sponsorships within CNN Commerce may exist within CNN Underscored editorial coverage and CNN Underscored social media accounts. The revenue driven from this business line is key to the team's bottom line and is essential for diversifying commerce revenue.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Pitch content sponsorship opportunities to affiliate brand managers, agencies and affiliate network contacts that align with advertiser goals and budgets
• Support the Senior Manager of Business Development in selling, coordinating, and reporting on Sponsored Content Campaigns .
• Communicate with external Sponsors on campaign status, performance, and progress
• Nurture a pipeline of leads for Sponsored Content by maintaining existing contact s and prospecting for new potential customers.
• Assist with identifying and develop ing new
opportunities for Sponsored and Paid content to increase revenue growth potential .
• Work closely with business development, product, social, and editorial teams to launch new campaign features and components .
• Help craft marketing decks and materials to be presented to internal and external stakeholders .
• Provide additional support to the business development team across a variety of initiatives including distribution, video, partner development, and affiliate growth .

Qualifications & Experience…
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or related field – Required
• Minimum 2 years
of experience in a sales
or business development role within the digital marketing space – Required
• Competency in Microsoft suite of tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) – Required
• Affiliate Marketing experience preferred
• Experience with and a passion for generating revenue and hitting performance goals in a deadline driven environment.
• Proven track record
of successfully pitching, selling and executing sponsored and/or paid ad campaigns with advertisers.
• The ideal candidate is proactive, comfortable in an external ly facing role, and can act
on direction given by business team leads.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $62,300.00 - $115,700.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
