We are looking for an innovative Product Manager to join the CNN App team! In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our app as the team expands, driving growth in user engagement and retention at the forefront of our digital strategy. As a leader, you will leverage your deep expertise in mobile app experiences to deliver a cohesive and delightful end-to-end user journey that aligns with our business goals.

You excel at navigating ambiguity and balancing competing priorities, turning challenges into opportunities for innovation. As the App team continues to grow, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure our app remains central to our user engagement strategy, consistently delivering value that keeps users coming back.

Your Role Accountabilities:
• Lead a team of iOS, Android, and API engineers to deliver diverse, immersive experiences for the CNN app.
• Drive product strategy through rigorous market and user research, exploring, ideating, validating, and building products aligned with business goals.
• Craft and prioritize the product roadmap, focusing on continuous iteration, experimentation, and business impact.
• Collaborate closely with designers, user research experts, data analysts, engineers, and data scientists to create delightful user experiences and drive meaningful business impact.
• Define OKRs, track progress, and communicate plans and results to cross-functional partners and leadership, ensuring alignment within the organization.
• Own and refine metrics for your team's products, ensuring alignment with business and customer objectives.
• Field incoming requests and efficiently prioritize them based on level of effort, customer needs, and business impact.

Qualifications & Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in product management, particularly with native apps (iOS and Android).
• Proven track record of leading high-impact teams and delivering complex product initiatives.
• A customer-first mindset with the ability to empathize with and deeply understand customer needs.
• An inquisitive nature and a strong desire to understand the ''why'' behind decisions and actions.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in defining product strategies and crafting technical products from inception to launch, with a focus on apps.
• Ability to balance qualitative and quantitative data (especially from A/B tests) when making product decisions.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with proficiency in SQL (nice to have).
• Strong user experience sensibilities and appreciation for minimal interface design, with familiarity with HIG and Material design principles.
• Nice to have: Experience with media, videos, subscriptions, acquisition, and retention.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $77,700.00 - $144,300.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
