The Job

We are looking for a Producer excited to work as part of a cross functional team that will drive operational excellence and efficiency of our commercial content development on digital. It's a key role connecting the dots between editorial, content partnerships, programming, operations, and other teams to ensure the success of CNN Digital editorial-led sponsorships and partnership integrations.

The Daily
• Work across teams to develop accurate traffic estimates for upcoming digital editorial features and series that are being pitched for sponsorship. To do so, you'll analyze audience data and leverage your strong understanding of relevant content themes and other factors.
• Help shape ideas for sponsored series and specials to maximize user engagement and optimize monetization.
• Work closely with editors, producers, programming, SEO, social and other teams to ensure successful launch, tracking and delivery of sponsored series and specials. Advise on optimal content and programming strategies, set priorities among simultaneous campaigns, and provide actionable insights so that impressions targets are met efficiently and in full.
• Liaise between editorial and business teams on specific sponsorships, communicating any special requirements or concerns.
• For new sponsored series, may gather and track launch assets, assign deliverables, advise on or create landing pages, and secure needed approvals.
• Gather and review data to optimize content delivery and inform future content development. Provide editorial-focused POV and feedback for post-campaign wrap-ups.
• Troubleshoot reporting, content questions, pacing, and other sponsorship issues that may arise during campaigns.
• Represent sponsor needs during live digital shows and other events.
• Work on documentation and support of sponsorship processes as needed, and look for opportunities to improve them.

The Essentials
• A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in digital media, journalism or ad sales
• Ability to partner, communicate, and create trusted relationships with various teams both technical and non-technical
• This position is required to work in person at one of our locations in the United States. WarnerMedia requires anyone working in our workplaces in the US to be vaccinated against COVID-19. • Excellent communication skills
• Goal-oriented self-starter with strong time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Hands-on experience analyzing web traffic and site behavior in Adobe Analytics or other similar web analytics tools
• Proficient in calculations, analysis and charting in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to handle multiple fast-moving projects with changing priorities, drivers and dependencies
• Strong critical thinking, data analysis and strategic thinking skills
• Strong passion to solve complex problems
• An editorial mindset
• Strong record of launching projects/programs on time on tight deadlines

Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience with digital product management, business operations, digital journalism, data analysis or product marketing
• Understanding of digital sponsorship process, audience, and traffic sources
• Experience pitching content ideas
• Expertise programming and/or creating content for digital platforms
• Experience with Adobe Suite or other analytics tools
