Job Description
As an Associate Producer/Editor in the CNN Abu Dhabi features team you will be an enthusiastic, organized, energetic team player, who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and has a passion for storytelling. Working closely with photojournalists and producers across many creative areas within the features department, you will be responsible for pitching, filming, scripting and various edits of video assets. You will also be responsible for media-managing all content created by the features team and overseeing the organization of our video asset library.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Planning, Scripting and Editing video content, including 60 second video edits, social video edits and short-form pieces
• Utilise a strong knowledge of video, audio, graphic & post-production process
• Work collaboratively with features team to create innovative, compelling video edits
• Produce high-quality output whilst managing simultaneous projects
• Update and refresh existing video creative
• Archive, organize material and media manage Adobe projects
• Offer ways to improve archive management, workflow and team processes
Qualifications & Experience…
• Experience of editing video content
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere
• Must have the ability to work independently, solve problems and communicate effectively in fast paced environments
• Passionate storyteller and media creator
• Ability to adapt to changes in production plan/schedules
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
