Job Description

Responsibilities
This Editor will be responsible for editing and writing about emerging investing trends, like electric vehicles, the metaverse and others. The type of stories edited will include quick-hitting short stories on developments in these trends, as well as longer pieces involving reporting over several days, weeks on big investing trends.

The editor will be responsible for developing and seeing through multiple stories on these trends a week. They will also manage a small team of reporters and support their efforts to make CNBC's work the best it can be by helping them triage stories, angles, copy and headlines.

Qualifications/Requirements
What you'll bring:

At least 5 years of business editing experience
• Demonstrated ability to write clean copy fast
• Ability to work quickly under deadline pressure
• Ability to give constructive feedback and manage a small team of reporters

Additional Requirements:
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
