JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Channel Media Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Multi-Channel Media Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of linear and digital media tied to sports programming. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience and a strong understanding of the media landscape, particularly in the sports industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading professional sports organization and contribute to the success of our multi-channel sports programming sales division.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for multi-channel media sales tied to sports programming.
• Identify and prospect potential clients, including sports networks, advertisers, agencies, and other relevant stakeholders within the sports industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to maximize revenue opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Present and pitch multi-channel advertising solutions to clients, leveraging knowledge of sports programming and media trends to effectively address client needs and objectives.
• Collaborate with the internal team to create customized multi-channel media proposals, including pricing, inventory availability, and creative opportunities, to meet client requirements.
• Negotiate and close sales deals, including contracts and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the company and the client.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions, providing insights and recommendations to enhance the company's media offerings and maintain a competitive edge.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, regularly reporting on sales activities, revenue forecasts, and market trends to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, operations, broadcast, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of media campaigns and exceptional customer service.
• Stay updated with technological advancements, emerging multi-channel media platforms, and digital advertising innovations, incorporating them into sales strategies and solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in media sales, with a focus on selling multi-channel media tied to sports programming.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the multi-channel media industry, with a strong portfolio of successful client relationships.
• In-depth understanding of the sports industry, including sports programming, leagues, events, and the associated multi-channel media landscape.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex multi-channel media solutions to clients effectively.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to create compelling value propositions and drive revenue growth.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using Saleforce CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage sales activities and opportunities.
• A self-motivated and driven individual who thrives in a team-oriented environment and demonstrates a passion for media sales and the sports industry.
• Familiarity of working in the Ohio multi-channel media sales market a plus.
