Cineverse is looking for two SaaS Sales Representatives to be responsible for selling our proprietary software, Matchpoint, as a service to new and existing customers by developing, driving, and closing revenue opportunities. You will work closely with our customer success, and marketing teams to build relationships, secure new customers, and provide insightful input. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and thrive in a competitive environment to make an immediate impact.
Essential Functions
• Develop and maintain expertise in the Matchpoint value proposition and the business application of all Cineverse product offerings
• Understand the discipline of sales processes including deal qualification, staging and accurate forecasting
• Drive new business by prospecting and closing deals with new customers for our proprietary SaaS platforms, exceeding sales targets
• Actively develop sales opportunities, manage customer interactions, communications, trials, and reports
• Develop new customer interactions, either directly or through reseller partners
• Establish relationships with business owners and C-level executives all over North America and bringing them on as new users
• Effectively manage the overall sales process as it relates to ongoing sales activity including pipeline forecasting, organizational mapping, contracts, proposals, and legal
• Understand and interpret prospective customer requirements, delivering customized business cases, product demonstrations, and presentations which speak to your customers' unique needs and motivators
• Work closely with our Solutions Architects during pre-sales to scope and deliver customer requirements
• Refine our internal processes to ensure effective measurement of performance, consistent experience from internal & external partners, and improvement to team's impact on the success of deals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records and reports
Essential Qualifications/Competencies
• B2B sales experience in OTT, Media & Entertainment Industry strongly preferred
• Experience taking deals through the full sales cycle from engaging customers to deal closure
• Streaming landscape knowledge and experience in key solutions such as AVOD, SVOD, OTT, Direct, Programmatic and more
• Well-crafted sales process/methodology
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
• CRM experience preferred
• Ethical with a high level of personal integrity and initiative
• Outstanding communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
• No fear approach to new business development through cold-calling and networking and a successful track record to back it up
• Proven ability to build rapport and develop strong business relationships
• Experience working in a fluid, fast-paced environment and navigating matrixed organizations
