Job Title: Major League Video Content Specialist

Department: Baseball Operations – Major League Team
Reports To: Director, Integrated Baseball Information & Video
FLSA: Salary, Exempt

Job Purpose:
To develop and contribute to an efficient process for creating video content, distributing video to players and staff, and capturing video and data

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare video files and playlists for upcoming series, advance meetings, and dugout iPads
• Assist players and staff with video needs and ensure daily distribution of video
• Capture game and non-game video at home and on the road during spring training, regular season, and postseason
• Assist with daily tech setup and operation in the bullpen, in the batting cage, and on the field
• Maintain and expand internal video databases
• Prepare highlight videos and other content for internal use

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Must be computer-savvy and have a working knowledge of Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro applications
• Knowledge of commonly used baseball industry programs and technologies such as BATS, TruMedia, IP cameras, Edgertronic cameras, handheld camcorders, Trackman Mobile, etc. preferred
• Must have excellent organizational skills, work ethic, attention to detail, initiative, intellectual curiosity, and proactive problem-solving ability
• Able to identify pitch types and common baseball plays
• Able to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment
• Must be a good written and oral communicator

Experience, Education, and Licensure:
• Bachelor's degree in video, communications, new media, electronic media, or motion graphic design preferred
• Experience in video editing and graphic production required
• Experience playing or working in college and/or professional sports preferred

Requirements:
• Spoken and written fluency in English and Spanish preferred
• Must be available to work and travel to all home and away games during spring training, regular season, and postseason. Hours will include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• In addition to a typical interior/office work environment, applicants must be able to work in a locker room/clubhouse setting and outdoors where the employee will be exposed to prevailing weather conditions.
