Job Description

The CBS owned television station in Sacramento, CA is searching for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to lead our local sales team. Our ideal candidate is a proven leader, a problem solver and has skills to manage the sales process from beginning to end.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Sales Manager candidate should have a minimum of 5 years' experience at the local and national level, plus a solid history with digital/streaming campaigns.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of local business development, handling local account executives, national / regional transactional sales, political advertising planning and execution, inventory control, as well as digital applications, is a must.
• Wide Orbit and Salesforce expertise would be ideal.
• Broadcast television experience
• Proven record of sales growth
• Primary focus on driving business development and other revenue generating plans.
• Sponsorship sales experience (Sports and NTR).
• Strong presentation and Powerpoint skills.
• Talent to motivate a sales team with enthusiasm and respect of product knowledge.
• Forecasting proficiency.
• Pricing and negotiating expertise.
• Sports fan that can translate that passion to sales of numerous sponsorships.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $140,000.00 - 160,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
