CBS O&O in Dallas is looking for a dynamic and enterprising journalist. This reporter position will produce content for all platforms in a manner that is accurate, engaging, and meaningful to news consumers. Candidate should be a passionate and creative storyteller.

We're looking for a journalist who has strong source-building skills and thrives on breaking stories and big interviews. This person should also understand the value and impact of community reporting and have strong journalist ethics. Our newsroom is focused on multi-platform content distribution and requires the individual in this role to be engaged in all platforms.

The role is considered part-time with an anticipated 16-24 hours per week.

Successful candidate should have:
• Ability to be engaged with all platforms.
• Must have a dynamic on-air presence and the ability to deliver final news product creatively and concisely.
• Bachelor's or technical degree in Journalism or related field preferred
• 5 years' experience preferred.
• The ability to shoot and edit is a bonus.
