CBS News 24/7 seeks a skilled full-time video editor passionate about news, with proficiency in non-linear editing equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Edit daily stories under deadline pressure using non-linear editing systems
• Uphold journalistic, ethical, and professional standards consistent with company policies and values

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a dynamic television news environment.
• Diligent and fast paced, the editor must excel with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Grass Valley Edius is preferred!
• The ideal candidate is a creative teammate adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility with scheduling, including nights, overnights, and weekends, is essential.
• Demo reel links showcasing editing are recommended.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $74,382.00 - 80,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
