WJZ-TV in Baltimore is seeking a Weekend Anchor/Reporter to join our news team. Candidate will report during the week and anchor on the weekends.

DUTIES:

Deliver reports for daily newscasts and on Social media. Develop contacts, enterprise hard news stories, write and produce packages and respond well to breaking news. Ensure balance and ethical presentation of the news. Must possess strong writing, producing, and reporting skills and understand the ViacomCBS brand. Must meet all deadlines. Must have the proven ability to work in a multi-platform content environment, which includes reporting for all digital platforms. Must have excellent news judgement as well as phenomenal written, verbal and personal communication skills. Must be a strong team player.

QUALIFICATION
- Applicant should have significant experience in anchoring, reporting and live work.
- Must be able to enterprise, develop contacts and break stories on-air and across digital platforms.
- Minimum of three years of experience anchoring and reporting in a medium market.
- Experience is sports casting is a definite plus!

FAMILIAR WITH:

iNews newsroom computer system and personal computer.

EDUCATION:

College degree preferred
