Account Executive CBS KTVT (Hybrid Remote-Dallas)

CBS Television Stations KTVT & KTXA in Dallas-Ft Worth are seeking a driven sales-minded business professional to work full time as an entry level Account Executive. This is a junior position on our advertising sales team, with lots of opportunity for career growth and potential to build your future within the CBS Television/Paramount family. You will be working alongside the best sales professionals in the business and will gain vital backend knowledge of systems and processes, while also learning the skills necessary to grow new and incremental revenue for the company. High performers of this position can be fast tracked into a full time Account Executive role.

This position is based out of the Dallas-Fort Worth area and is hybrid-remote as long as you live within the DFW Metroplex. Unlimited PTO and full benefits.

Responsibilities:
• Provide support to Account Executives on pre & post-sale activity, including campaign implementation, maintenance, and review
• Constant communication with existing agencies and direct client business; this responsibility includes maintenance of client schedules on television and online, in addition to implementation of station projects and tent-pole events
• Work with Account Executives to support client needs
• Collaborate with Account Executives in identifying new/incremental revenue as well as retention based upon campaign results
• Assist Account Executives with contract maintenance, avail generation, traffic, make-goods, collections, and overall customer service
• Successfully identify and implement campaigns for clients, increasing campaign renewals
• Help develop New Business - prospect qualified targets, effectively cold call, book sales appointments, and lead presentations

Preferred Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:
• Previous experience in media, sales, and/or client engagement preferred
• Capability to work effectively as a member of a team
• Ability to manage stress well, and juggle multiple challenges at once
• Creative and able to adapt quickly to change
• New graduates welcome to apply
• Preferred knowledge of: Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, Strata, Nielsen, Comscore, Wide Orbit, Wide Orbit Connect
