Streaming Producer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented producer to add to our streaming team. This role combines the technical oversight of daily programing for some of our FAST channels with creative input in creating engaging content for those channels. For the right person, this role provides a unique opportunity for growth in a quickly developing section of our business, working with some incredibly recognizable CBS brands. The ideal candidate will have a news or entertainment background, some technical understanding and an awareness viewer experiences in the streaming space. The position requires trustworthy editorial judgement along with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
• Working with our editorial team, build and time hourly rundowns for live and automated shows
• Pitch and develop engaging content, using new or archival footage, to be featured on our FAST channels
• Help execute large event programming, including adapting schedules and delivering streaming content, to draw audience to the channels during focused times
• Identify graphic and video needs to help improve viewer experience of our streams and platforms
• Update CMS systems with show descriptions, tags and thumbnails

Basic qualifications:
• 3+ years production experience
• Experience with rundown structures and video playout systems (amagi, grass valley, crispin, etc.)
• Basic non-linear editing experience
• Knowledge of OTT platforms
• Strong writing and copy-editing skills
• Understanding of SEO
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed, including event overage
• Skilled collaborator who can productively work with anyone and pivot as daily priorities change

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $64,000.00 - 81,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
