Overview

Cadence13 is seeking a podcast fanatic to serve as Marketing Manager.

As a member of the Podcast Marketing team, the Marketing Manager will work to grow and sustain podcast audiences by supporting launches, existing titles and related marketing initiatives. The Marketing Manager will report into the Marketing Director and work in close collaboration to develop and grow in-house media planning, buying activation and analytical practices. This role will also collaborate with other departments including, but not limited to, design, production, operations, ad sales, and Audacy marketing to build upon synergistic practices and optimize audience growth across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a media planning role, with strong knowledge of entertainment content and audio buying.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Work closely with the Directors of Podcast Marketing, to build go-to-market plans for new and returning seasons of podcasts
• Help identify audience growth and engagement opportunities across the existing portfolio
• Work cross-functionally with Audacy brand marketing teams to implement strategic, multi-platform marketing campaigns around podcast launches and other major initiatives
• Manage internal promo process including vetting and creative trafficking
• Oversee execution of our internal podcast cross-promotion initiatives
• Support with paid media from planning to activation and optimization to recap
• Assist in the coordination of podcast promotion with third-party podcast platforms (Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc.)
• Collaborate with content and production teams to identify podcast content best suited for discoverability optimization (e.g. SEO)
• Prepare regular performance updates on podcast performance and promotional efforts
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration and inclusion within the wider organization
