CG Supervisor

Job Description

BlueBolt is looking for a CG Supervisor to join our growing team.

PROFILE: The CG Supe will oversee a team at project level, providing technical and artistic leadership and overseeing the CG artist team in conjunction with the Head of 3D and the VFX Supervisor. We are looking for someone who can combine Creative Ideas with Technical Solutions. The CG Supe will have the ability to lead and be a hands-on contributor through all stages of CG development and shot execution.

Previous experience as a CG Supervisor or a 3D lead at show or sequence level on Features/TV is required. An excellent working knowledge of Maya and Arnold is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• The CG Supe will work with the VFX Supervisor to identify the approach to CG production and see it through from Previs, to Asset Development & Look Dev, Layout, Animation, FX & Lighting
• They will need to be comfortable overseeing artists, and giving feedback in one-to-one sessions at workstations or in group review sessions, in person or remotely
• The CG Supe will likely be leading on a single large show initially, or if needed on more than one smaller show
• The CG Supe needs to be appreciative of the show schedule and be able to anticipate requirements, forming a close and communicative partnership with the VFX Supe, CG & DMP artists, Production, Comp Leads and Pipeline.
