Production Coordinator

Job Description

Bally Sports West/SoCal/San Diego is looking for a Production Coordinator! This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Operations and Operations Manager in coordinating sporting events for Bally Sports West/SoCal/San Diego. Manages data entry in XLT crewing application for remote and studio events. Creates schedules, contact lists and credential lists for remote and studio events. Arranges travel for production crew on West & SD remote and studio events. Also, codes production invoices for San Diego events. Assists with transmission requests in Wide Orbit as needed. Participates in associated meetings and conference calls.

Essential Functions:
• Create jobs in ProCrewz for remote crews for all events
• Update crew call times in ProCrewz before each game
• Update crew changes/replacements in ProCrewz
• Create credential lists for each event
• Create Covid Compliance Officer schedules and consistently update call times
• Travel arranger for West & SD freelancers
• Invoice coder for San Diego production invoices
• Input transmission requests into Wide Orbit when additional assistance is needed

Qualifications and Experience:
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred
• A minimum of 1-3 years previous broadcast production experience is preferred
• Must have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic math skills are required
• Excellent organizational and project coordination skills are needed
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
• Knowledge of Google Drive is required
• Knowledge of ProCrewz, Air Table and/or Wide Orbit a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours is also necessary
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment is essential
• Good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work as a member of a team are necessary
• Knowledge of remote production and technical equipment is a plus
• Occasional lifting of equipment (up to 50 pounds)
• There will also be occasional work in the in the field at stadiums, locker rooms, media presentations, and in a studio production environment
• Occasional presence will be needed on weeknights and weekends
