What You'll Do:
• Minimum of 5 years of broadcast engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with FM, HD, and AM transmitters, including AM directional antenna systems.
• Ability to inspect, repair, and maintain all broadcast radio station equipment, including transmitters, antennas, satellite downlinks, automation systems, studio equipment, remote equipment, generators, telephone systems, and related other equipment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of FCC Rules and Regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven time management skills with the ability to multitask in a multiple project environment.
• IT and network knowledge and experience.
• Strong PC skills, including proficiency in document, spreadsheet, and documentation software applications.
• Experience with computer-based audio storage systems (WideOrbit/VoxPro preferred).
• Experience with digital audio and audio streaming.
• Assist with the maintenance and development of all aspects of technical facilities, including studios, transmitters, telephone systems, satellite, STL, computers, and data networks.
• Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

Qualifications

Required:
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of computers and IT systems, including networking and proficiency with Google Workspace.
• A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires the use of the applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance.
• Physical requirements: Ability to frequently stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and smell. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Preferred:
• SBE Certification.
• Experience with modern digital audio systems, including WideOrbit, VoxPro, and Audio Over IP.
• Availability to work various hours/days, including weekends and holidays.
• At least four years of college or technical school education and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• On-call availability 24/7 in case of equipment failure.

Salary Details
Salary Range: $60,000 to $80,000 Per Year ($ USD)
