Overview
Audacy, a leading multi-platform audio content and entertainment company, is seeking an SVP, Media Solutions.
Reporting to Audacy's EVP, Marketing Solutions & Strategy, and working alongside the Head of National Sales, Head of Digital Sales and Head of Marketing Solutions, the SVP, Media Solutions will be responsible for ensuring maximizing revenue and yield from the sale of Audacy's OTA, Streaming, Podcast and Digital assets to Advertisers and Agencies.
Audacy is seeking a strong leader with extensive experience developing highly functioning, cross-plaftform planning and campaign management team. This person enjoys engaging directly with advertisers and agencies to understand their objectives and to develop plans that drive maximum results.
Candidates will have hands-on experience with:
• Cross platform pricing and planning
• Planning and launching of new products and initiatives
• Utilizing research, data and analytics to develop innovative channel strategies
• Inventory optimization and yield management
• Financial modeling and analysis
• Managing a diverse and growing team of media planners and campaign managers
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
• Working with cross functional teams to assess, develop and optimize revenue opportunities
• Directs the analysis of advertising inventory to identify areas of concern and communicates these to relevant managers and executives
• Oversees analyses of pricing, media mix and inventory allocations and determination of most profitable uses of OTA, digital and other assets. Determines competitive advertising rate cards and approves deviations
• Determining pricing levels and construct General Rate Card based on marketplace conditions
• Monitoring pricing for DR and Paid Programming inventory
• Directing the core planning and campaign management team to help fuel their learning and advancement. Lead by example to ensure the understand various media channels, and their applications against client strategies and goals
• Maintaining thorough, up-to-date client relationships, including knowledge of client's business (market share, business priorities, key competitor strategies, etc.). Establish and grow client relationships by demonstrating an understanding of industry and client business issues
• Managing the workload of the team across multiple brands, delegating tasks and monitoring individual responsibilities to ensure the most effective use of individual and team skills. Mentor and delegate to Supervisor and Media Planners to grow their knowledge base and expand individual management skills
Qualifications
More About You:
Required:
• At least 10 years' experience with integrated hands-on planning (including buying, implementation, analytics, and optimization) in broadcast and digital media.
• Experience managing Planning and Campaign Management teams.
• Experience allocating and managing plans and budgets across multiple media channels preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize with multiple projects and clients with different timelines and deliverables.
• Must have strong analytical skills
• Must have excellent Excel modeling skills
• Must be highly proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have proven leadership skills and ability to work across the organization
