Job Title: KMBZ Midday Producer

Audacy Kansas City's KMBZ has an immediate opening for a Midday Show Producer.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:
• Operation of audio control board
• Taking network feeds as needed.
• Screening calls for use on air.
• Managing flow of the show and station logs.
• Audio editing.
• Generating topic ideas with hosts
• Posting audio to website and social media.
• Following all applicable rules and FCC regulations.
• Other duties as required by management

Qualifications

Required & Preferred:
• Two years in radio broadcasting as board operator or producer.
• Knowledge of Wide Orbit or other radio automation systems.
• Familiarity with station format or talk radio programming

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and/or fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Position requires ability to manipulate knobs, levers and push buttons.
