Job Description

Amazon Studios is hiring a Production Operations manager to support Film/Scripted and Unscripted projects, to be produced both in the United States and internationally. Amazon Studios is the Film and Television development and production arm of Amazon.com.

This role will support the Head of Production in areas of Production and Production Finance to oversee Amazon global production actives, contributing to the long term corporate strategies, goals and solutions. The position will work closely with internal partners, including Production, Post-Production, Production Finance, Legal, Risk Management and Creative Development teams.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Collaborate with show producers, line producers, production managers and creative executives and offer ideas about and assessments of production operations strategies.
• Identify potential strategies and evaluate risk factors relating to operational strategies.
• Interact effectively with senior leaders, both internally and externally, to influence business decisions.
• Contribute to forming long-term corporate strategies, goals and solutions.
• Investigate, oversee, and develop strategy around worldwide production incentive opportunities.
• Act as a bridge between Studio Production and Studio Finance.
• Act as a liaison from Amazon Studios to productions, film commissions, corporate public policy, and economic development in the area of production operations needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years of experience in Film and Television Production/Production Finance Operations Management
• Direct knowledge of physical production of movies and television
• Established relationships with vendors, film commissions, and facilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience and knowledge with/of International Studios operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization skills; ability to handle multiple projects at once
• Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
• Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
