This is an opportunity to build innovative experiences that are used by millions of fans. As Product Manager for Music Merch, you will focus on developing technologies and offering new experiences which allow fans to discover and engage with merch in new ways.
Product Managers are the CEO of the features they build and closely collaborate with Business, Engineering, Design, and more, to set strategy for, define, design, and directly manage all aspects of the CX. A successful candidate will be customer obsessed, highly analytical, have experience defining and delivering media/mobile/web products quickly and at scale, and be adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications that customers love.
You will be able to translate a big vision for the future into a simple set of features we can launch iteratively and experimentally, and know how to build support for your vision while taking input from other creative contributors. This role will own underlying discovery technologies for music that power many of the key features across the fan experience including across Amazon Stores and concerts and/or other live music events.
Key job responsibilities
-- Partner with key stakeholders to define and track the product roadmap and key performance indicators (KPIs)
-- Translate customer insights and business strategy into clearly defined product requirements
-- Work closely with Engineering teams and Project Leads to develop and deliver innovative solutions
-- Develop crisp and detailed business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications, design and architecture
-- Manage prioritization and trade-offs to ensure delivery of a great customer and fan experience
-- Manage day-to-day cross-functional relations, to ensure the product roadmap and prioritization are understood and implemented effectively
-- Interface and collaborate with teams across Amazon Music and partner organizations
Operate with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of product management experience
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of SQL and VBA at an advanced level
- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
