The Position
ART19 is looking for a Partnerships Account Executive to increase adoption of our SaaS podcast hosting solution and drive incremental growth in our advertising supply business. You will build a pipeline of publishers, podcast networks, and creators of all sizes - from enterprise to long-tail - and close hosting deals to grow our family of podcasters and increase ad supply in our Targeted Audience Solutions (TAS) advertising marketplace.

As a Partnerships Account Executive, you will develop outreach strategies to acquire new customers for ART19. You will work with the Head of Partnerships to devise strategies for our various customer segments and execute sales plans for each. This includes identifying customer target accounts, direct outreach, and proposal creation. You will also qualify and respond to inbound leads. This is an individual contributor role.

Key job responsibilities
* Develop and deliver against overall SaaS, supply, and demand goals
* Proactively recruit new partner shows/networks to join ART19
* Work with key ART19 stakeholders (Partnerships, CX, Finance, Product) to develop and refine ART19's ongoing strategy and target list for new partners
* Work with Data and Ops teams understand yield opportunities
* Provide marketplace feedback to Partnerships and Product teams to solve for competitive challenges
* Collaborate with Finance team on deal modeling and projections
* Stay up-to-date on industry news, emerging trends, competitive landscape & offerings, audio platforms, as well as top and emerging shows and creators
* Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, including revenue, downloads and ad supply metrics per partner
* Attend industry events as required to develop ongoing relationships that will help achieve ART19's long-term partnership goals

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-3+ years of professional work experience
-BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
-Experience in podcasts and audio content partnerships/business development

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience at a leading podcast hosting platform or network
* Track record of launching and managing successful partnerships in the audio space
* An understanding of audio apps and podcast marketing and growth tactics, and an ability to operate effectively within the podcast ecosystem
Experience with targeted and/or programmatic audio sales
* Experience in positioning and selling audio technology products
* Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing publisher and/or advertiser audio deals
* Experience in proactively growing existing customer relationships
* Experience leading meetings with high-level talent, as well as maneuver complicated relationships in the most professional manner
* A proactive 'problem solver', constantly looking around the corner to anticipate issues before they arrive
* An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high-stakes, while owning and taking accountability for sales KPI's
* Attention to detail and a sense of urgency in your working manner, understanding that timeliness is essential when managing partner relationships
* Consumer of podcasts themselves and be familiar with the shows, content formats, talent, and new business models in the space

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $56,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $119,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
