Job summary
Amazon Music is looking for an Experiential Marketing Manager to lead Pop-Ups and Visual Merchandising for artist merchandise on the Amazon Music Merch/CDs/Vinyl team.
This marketing manager will drive our experiential strategy to take music merch launches for artists to the next level, providing fans a differentiated shopping experience. They will work closely with agencies that will focus on production to deliver best-in-class merch experiences and have a keen eye to optimize how physical customers become aware of Amazon Music Merch during these activations, and drive customers to shop online. The day-to-day of this role will be developing a high-level strategy for their program, and project managing agencies to deliver on goals. To be successful in this role, you need to think big, but have a high attention to detail, be an advocate for experimentation while being a thought-leader on how we can optimize and learn from each experience.
This candidate is comfortable working independently, excellent at communicating with stakeholders regularly, and collaborates well with cross-functional partners across the Amazon Music, Amazon Fashion, etc. This role requires working at the strategic level - such as putting together trafficking plans and developing processes to help support the growing business, and works at the tactical level of building and optimizing campaigns, analyzing traffic data, and finding solutions to invent and simplify their workflows.
Key job responsibilities
* Develop and spearhead the experiential strategy for Amazon Music Merch team.
* Project manage event marketers, producers, creative, and cross-functional stakeholders to bring big ideas to life, and deliver best-in-class in-person shopping experience for music merchandise.
* Own visual merchandising for in-person shopping experiences, plus leading innovation in how we drive bigger visibility and conversion for downstream e-commerce purchases.
* Develop mechanisms, processes, and measurement of all events to understand what is working and what needs improvement.
* Work cross-functionally with brand marketing, artist marketing, artist/label teams, and agencies to deliver high quality events.
* Own work-streams with external partners to help drive visibility and awareness of experiential activations that have the opportunity to help drive sales.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
• 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communication or other related field, or equivalent experience
* Experiential marketing experience is a plus
* Photoshop / graphic design experience a plus
* Comfortable with ''hands-on'' management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
* Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.
