En tant que Conceptrice, Concepteur Artiste audio sénior.e, vous êtes responsable de la conception, du développement et de la production de l'environnement sonore d'un jeu vidéo non annoncé, améliorant ainsi la jouabilité et l'immersion des joueurs et des joueuses. Pour y arriver, vous collaborez étroitement avec le directeur audio et l'équipe de gameplay afin d'assurer une conception sonore alignée avec la vision artistique du jeu. Votre expertise guide le processus de production audio, du concept initial jusqu'au débogage et à l'assurance qualité finale, garantissant que chaque son contribue à une expérience immersive et fluide pour les joueurs et les joueuses.

As a Senior Audio Design Artist, you are responsible for the design, development, and production of the sound environment, enhancing gameplay and player immersion for an unannounced video game. You collaborate closely with the audio director and the gameplay team to ensure that the sound design aligns with the game's vision and artistic direction. Your expertise guides the audio production process from initial concept through to debugging and final quality assurance, ensuring that every sound contributes to an immersive and seamless player experience.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Design and implement audio to immerse the players in the game world;
- Work with the audio director to ensure that the sounds are in line with the creative audio direction;
- Participate in game creation through creative cells to enhance the gameplay experience and player immersion from a sound perspective;
- Determine the sound requirements of the project and ensure that the necessary resources are produced;
- Work with design, animation, VFX, and other teams, to ensure that audio matches the vision of the game;
- Help plan and track audio production throughout the production process;
- Take an active role in debugging and ensuring the final product meets quality standards.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in video game sound development
- Excellent knowledge of DAWs (Pro Tools, Reaper, etc.)
- Proficiency with Wwise
- Advanced skills in sound design, mixing and music design
- Artistic and creative sensibility
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English; due to the nature of the role , which requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada, bilingual French and English is required for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Unreal 5
- Knowledge of field recording and sound synthesis techniques
- Familiarity with audio and studio equipment and SFX libraries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to clearly explain complex ideas
- Musical skills as a musician and/or composer
- Passion for MOBA games
