Our team of game industry veterans is developing and publishing live service AAA multiplayer games and developing original IPs, including New World: Aeternum and an upcoming title based on The Lord of the Rings, with our studios and teams in Seattle, Orange County, San Diego, Montreal, and Bucharest. Amazon Games is seeking a talented Marketing Content Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our cross-functional marketing, community, business intelligence and creative teams, and report to the Head of 3P Marketing and Marketing Operations. This role will have a high level of interaction with the publishing team, collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to analyze performance, create insights, and facilitate optimization of marketing plans. You will be responsible for analyzing the performance of our marketing content and campaigns across various channels and providing insights to improve content strategy and effectiveness. This role requires excellent analytical skills, a strong understanding of content marketing best practices, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
Key job responsibilities
• Collect and analyze data on the performance of marketing campaigns and content, including trailers, video content, editorial, social media, websites, community events, email campaigns, etc. to measure ROI and set performance benchmarks.
• Use statistical software and analytical tools like Excel, SQL and Tableau to analyze data.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization based on data analysis.
• Create and present regular reports and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Become a part of the marketing planning process by bringing data and insights as you collaborate with creative, community, product marketing, and growth teams to share analyses and align content strategies with business goals.
• Conduct competitive analysis for comparison and identifying industry trends.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in marketing or data analysis.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing or content analysis.
- 1+ years of experience with analytical software tools (SQL, Tableau, etc.).
- 1+ years of experience working with marketing teams in the gaming/entertainment industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven experience in data analysis and content performance evaluation, preferably in the gaming/entertainment industry.
- Experience with performance marketing and marketing attribution tools/platforms.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with complex internal approval processes and stakeholder management.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners and bring people together around an idea.
- Curious, collaborative, positive, solutions oriented.
- Love playing games.
- Agency experience is a plus: Ability to work with multiple stakeholder teams simultaneously and quickly adapt to changing priorities.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
