Job Description

En tant que Conceptrice ou Concepteur de jeu, vous contribuez à la conception des principes et des systèmes du jeu. Vous travaillez étroitement avec les conceptrices et concepteurs UX et autres développeuses et développeurs afin de les guider vers des designs amusants et évolutifs. Vous collaborez avec vos pairs et intégrez votre travail aux autres ingrédients du jeu afin d'offrir aux joueuses et aux joueurs une expérience unique.

As Game Designer, you contribute to the design of game features and systems. You work closely with UX designers and other developers, guiding them towards fun and scalable designs. You collaborate with peers and you make sure your work integrates well with the other game ingredients, providing the player with a unique gameplay experience.

- Contribute to building the game direction & gameplay guidelines;
- Deliver game design in line with the creative direction;
- Contribute to defining and refining the game design processes;
- Lead team reviews and play sessions, actively seeking and providing feedback;
- Define and document design work and provide input on team standards;
- Include all relevant data in your decision-making process: your knowledge of cultural and game-design; trends and the industry landscape, as well as user feedback & telemetry data;
- Improve project and process efficiency, as well as cross-team workflows.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Baccalauréat ou équivalent
- 3+ années d'expérience dans la conception de jeu
- Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, à l'oral et à l'écrit; puisque ce rôle nécessite d'interagir avec d'autres entités d'Amazon à l'échelle mondiale ainsi qu'avec des collègues et intervenant.es dans d'autres provinces canadiennes, la connaissance du français et de l'anglais est exigée pour ce poste.

- Basic Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of industry experience as a game designer
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English; due to the nature of the role, which requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada, bilingual French and English is required for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
