Amazon Games Montréal recherche un.e Analyste de données de jeu pour accompagner la mise sur le marché des jeux et développer des opportunités commerciales pour Amazon. En tant que développeuse ou développeur en intelligence d'affaires pour les données de jeu au sein de notre équipe, vous fournirez des analyses et piloterez des initiatives clés liées aux jeux et aux activités commerciales. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de conceptions, de gestion de produits ainsi que la direction pour analyser et trouver des solutions aux défis du jeu moderne. Ce poste met l'accent sur la jouabilité et l'intégration: vous assisterez l'équipe de conception dans l'équilibrage et la création de nouveaux personnages, tout en utilisant les données et la recherche pour vous assurer que les joueuses et les joueurs comprennent et maîtrisent les mécaniques du jeu.

Amazon Games Montréal is looking for an experienced Game Data Analyst to help bring games to market and develop business opportunities for Amazon. As a Game Data Business Intelligence Developer on our team, you will provide insight and drive key game and business initiatives. You will work closely with Game Designers, Product Managers, and leadership to analyze and find solutions to modern gaming challenges. This position focuses on gameplay and onboarding as you will assist the Design team in balancing and creating new characters, while using data and research to make sure players understand and master the game's mechanics.

- Collaborate with internal partners to understand design and business challenges related to our games
- Use analytical languages and tools like SQL, Redshift and Tableau to craft analytical solutions
- Present descriptive and prescriptive metrics and analysis that empower partner teams to make smart decisions about our games
- Craft the right message for your audience. Explain complex concepts in language that technical and non-technical teammates will understand and act upon

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ années d'expérience dans l'industrie du jeu vidéo (soutien au développement, à la sortie ou aux Live Ops)
- 5+ années d'expérience en SQL
- Expérience en visualisation de données avec Tableau, Quicksight ou des outils similaires
- Expérience dans le développement et la présentation de recommandations de nouvelles métriques permettant une meilleure compréhension de la performance commerciale
- Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, à l'oral et à l'écrit; puisque ce rôle nécessite d'interagir avec d'autres entités d'Amazon à l'échelle mondiale ainsi qu'avec des collègues et intervenantes et intervenants dans d'autres provinces canadiennes, la connaissance du français et de l'anglais est exigée pour ce poste.

- Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience developing and presenting recommendations of new metrics allowing better understanding of the performance of the business
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English; due to the nature of the role, which requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada, bilingual French and English is required for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
