As an External Development Producer, you will be responsible for driving our external development strategy and managing relationships with key outsourcing partners. Your primary role is to identify the right partners to collaborate with, based on the game's needs, and ensure productive working relationships throughout the development lifecycle. You will organize workstreams, define deliverables and milestones, and oversee the seamless integration of externally produced content into the game. You have solid project management skills and have an expert level knowledge of common project management tools and methodologies. You use your communication skills to collaborate effectively with all the teams involved. You always keep player expectations at the center of your decision-making process, thereby guaranteeing results and game of high quality.

- Develop and drive the external development strategy aligned with the game's needs;
- Identify, evaluate, and select outsourcing partners based on technical skills, creative vision, methodologies, and mandate fit;
- Establish productive collaborative relationships with external partners from initial engagement through project completion;
- Define workstreams, deliverables, milestones, and integration plans for externally produced content;
- Organize and oversee the seamless execution of all outsourced development efforts;
- Manage expectations and facilitate clear communication between internal teams and external partners;
- Proactively identify and resolve conflicts or blockers impacting external collaborations;
- Implement processes and use tools/methodologies to effectively coordinate multi-partner projects;
- Deliver regular status updates to stakeholders, addressing risks, issues, and opportunities;
- Partner with legal and finance teams to establish contracts, work orders, and invoicing for external partners.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in supporting teams and projects in the context of outsourcing game production and/or operations;
- Expert level knowledge of common project management tools and methodologies (JIRA, agile development, and others);
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English; due to the nature of the role which requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon empl
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with outsourcing partners and multidisciplinary team of artists, designers, animators and developers;
- Experience with project management and associated tools and methodologies in the context of video game production and operation;
- Knowledge of game industry trends and enjoyment of playing games;
- Experience working with content pipelines including concept, modelling, audio, VFX and external partners;
- Experience in improving workflows, production and operational processes.
