Vous travaillez en collaboration avec les autres métiers de l'équipe de développement afin d'offrir aux joueuse et aux joueurs une expérience de jeu unique et de haute qualité.

As an Animation Artistic Director, you will be in charge of establishing the vision and guidelines for the animation of all the characters in the game. You will work in collaboration with other professions in the team in order to offer players a unique gaming experience.

Joining Amazon Games Montréal means taking part in the foundation of a new video game studio that operates at a focused, human scale; participating in the creation of a new intellectual property, a fresh take on the AAA multiplayer online battle arena game (yes, a MOBA); and collaborating with a team of well-rounded experts who have a great time working together. Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Create animation prototypes and other benchmark assets;
- Act as the main point of communication between animators and all other teams;
- Provide guidance during creative discussions with design and art leadership;
- Manage a team of animators, direct project planning and ensure artistic quality while respecting deadlines;
- Collaborate with production to ensure schedules and plans meet production needs;
- Drive process and pipeline improvements;
- Provide animation direction to ensure that the quality of the work is consistent with the vision of the artistic director;
- Identify, mentor, develop, and support animation talent and team;
- Collaborate effectively with production, design, engineering and other artistic departments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualifications de base
- 10+ années d'expérience en animation pour des jeux AAA
- 5+ années dans une position de leadership
- Portfolio illustrant l'éventail des styles, la créativité et le savoir-faire, en particulier démontrant une maitrise de l'animation de bipèdes humanoïdes, de quadrupèdes et d'autres créatures
- Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, à l'oral et à l'écrit; puisque ce rôle nécessite d'interagir avec d'autres entités d'Amazon à l'échelle mondiale ainsi qu'avec des employé.es et intervenant.es dans d'autres provinces canadiennes, la connaissance du français et de l'anglais est exigée pour ce poste.
- Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of animation experience for AAA games
- 5+ years in a leadership position
- Portfolio illustrating a range of styles, creativity and skills, particularly demonstrating proficiency in animating humanoid bipeds, quadrupeds and other creatures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, in French and English; due to the nature of the role that requires interaction with other Amazon entities globally and with Amazon employees and stakeholders in other provinces in Canada, bilingualism French and English is required for this position.
