Open Position Information:
Vehicle Escort Driver
SUMMARY
The Truck Stop is where delivery drivers need to get checked in and be directed or escorted to the appropriate area or lot on site. The Truck Stop Staff will be responsible for coordinating and advancing the needs of truck stop operations in addition to coordinating any requests for the truck stop team. This position will assist in the coordination of truck deliveries at the festival truck stop in addition to escorting delivery vehicles from the truck stop to designated festival locations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for coordinating and advancing the needs of truck stop operations by ensuring assets are received, all staffing is secured, reviewing and building documents with festival departments
• Greet, guide, and direct vehicles to the appropriate check-in lanes and control the flow of traffic entering and/or exiting the truck stop
• Pick up and arrange traffic cones and other miscellaneous items to allow additional vehicles in/out of the truck stop.
• Drive to designated locations in golf carts, kubotas, or other vehicles as needed.
• Escort delivery vehicles to designated venue locations by driving company provided vehicles on public and private roads. Communicate with delivery vehicle drivers to ensure vehicles do not violate traffic laws or cause accidents while moving cargo/load.
• Responsible for coordinating breaks, credentials, hotel requests for team, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
• A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
• A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move on paved, gravel, and muddy terrain.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and move moderately heavy objects up to 25 lbs.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Scale: $22.50
