Job Description
ABC News Studios is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Production Associate to join our innovative team. The PA will play a vital role in the production process, assisting in various aspects of content creation from pre-production to post-production. Responsibilities include supporting the production team with research, scheduling, coordination, and ensuring smooth operations both in-studio and on location. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for long-form storytelling.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinating and organizing field shoots
• Logging and researching video, stills and editorial information.
• Create and implement organizational systems for long-term production.
• Supplemental shooting of elements for productions will factor.
• Media management of large-scale production under deadline pressures.
• Pivots from long-term project to breaking news longform feature narratives when needed.
• Extensive administrative functions including support of senior production staff.
• Works independently and collaboratively
• Generates ideas for storytelling and narrative production.

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum one-year of experience working in television production.
• Exceptional organizational and administrative skills.
• Conscientious, self-motivated, and proactive.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Previous experience in news or documentary production.
• Familiarity with archival and digital resources.

Education
• Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from a 4-year accredited college or university or equivalent experience.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $53,600- $73,700 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
