Production Associate, GMA Field & Series (ABC News)
Are you interested in joining a vibrant and skilled team responsible for creating the top-rated morning show in the nation? Good Morning America is currently seeking a Production Associate to be a part of our Field & Series Unit to work on taped pieces/packages that will air during GMA's broadcast.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for supporting Producers and Associate Producers with the production of every taped piece/ package airing on Good Morning America. This position also supports GMA Writers with the pulling of stills and creation of taped b-roll/ roll-ins for live segments. In addition to the important support role of this position, Production Associates are also responsible for producing their own taped pieces/ packages for air on GMA, thereby gaining the valuable experience and skills needed to eventually become an Associate Producer.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates for this position must have a strong interest in news, excellent writing skills, and a desire to grow and develop new skills in the realm of taped piece/ package producing. This Production Associate position requires self-sufficiency and self-starters who can quickly learn new skills and immediately put them to use. This position will be consistently scheduled at night and, because Good Morning America is on seven days per week, the shifts will consistently cover all weekend evenings.
Required Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $46,600 to $64,130 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
