In this role, you'll be instrumental in generating fresh story concepts, conducting engaging sit-down and documentary style interviews, and sourcing compelling video content-all while navigating fast-paced deadlines. We're seeking someone who is adaptable and ready to work flexible hours, including mornings, overnights, and weekends. Join us in bringing the news to life in a dynamic and impactful way!

Responsibilities:
• Pitching, developing, and producing a variety of stories.
• Go into the field and film short and longform stories for broadcast with a focus on creative visual storytelling.
• Collaborate with film crews in the field and shoot A & B cam on original stories.
• Proactively work to coordinate field shoots and assist in the scripting and editing of stories.
• Able to work with on-air talent, from a field producing/writing perspective.
• Work in a high-pressure, fast-paced control room as needed.
• Show initiative to pitch & produce content while also working collaboratively as a team.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum 3 years of production experience in digital, streaming, or broadcast settings.
• Proficiency in shooting video and managing video production in high-pressure environments.
• Knowledge of the current digital live streaming landscape.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, overnights, and weekends, and excel under tight daily deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience filming both short and long-form stories.

Education
• BA or BS from a 4-year accredited college or university or equivalent experience.

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $57,900 to $77,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
