Accounting / Tax Intern (Remote)

A24 is looking for two part-time summer interns to support the Tax Accounting team -- must be available up to 25 hours per week.

This internship is remote and we're open to candidates from any location in the US.

Responsibilities
• Prepare workpapers to file sales tax returns and file returns
• Work on researching federal, state and international tax issues
• Organize and help streamline financial data tracking
• Assist team with monthly close activities
• Assist team with year-end financial audit support
• Assist with reconciliations of trial balance accounts, tax returns etc.
• Assist with reading contracts, purchase orders, etc.
• Ad-hoc projects as requested

Qualifications
• Sophomore or Junior in a four year program OR a Junior or Senior in a five year accounting or tax program
• Organized and detailed-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Experience in Data Automation a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Our internships are part-time roles with an hourly rate of $17.00. Actual pay will depend on various considerations, including: education, experience, skills, specializations, training, and business needs.
