Work Locations: With the exception of some select roles that have in-office requirements, A+E Networks operates on a flexible model that allows for remote, hybrid or full time in office work (in certain locales).
Office locations include New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Stamford, CT.

Job Description

A+E Networks has an amazing Manager opportunity providing support in the accounting department.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Manager, Program Accounting:
• Prepare monthly programming journal entries; maintain and update close checklist
• Prepare GL reconciliations and rollforwards for all balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and analyze monthly programming results for all A+E linear networks and digital division, lead monthly close meetings
• Maintain subsidiary ledger details to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Monitor production spend on in-house productions
• Collect and maintain records for yearly financial audits; prepare audit footnote & disclosures
• Prepare monthly ratings report
• Provide support to tax department on yearly filings for AETN and production level entities
• Work with tax department to ensure that tax credits are received , properly recorded and reconciled
• Support finance and production departments in maintaining yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Prepare projections for 5-year and annual budget programming balances, as well as cash flow supports.
• Update program amortization policy when needed.
• Prepare ad-hoc projects to help management make informed decisions.

YOUR STORY:
• BA/BS Accounting Degree is required.
• 4-6 years of relevant accounting or finance work experience.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial analysis.
• Detailed-oriented and extremely organized.
• Must have the ability to work independently, efficiently and be able to meet deadlines under strict time constraints.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Knowledge or experience in programming development and production a plus.
• Entertainment and/or agency experience a plus.
• Strong work ethic, integrity and oral/written communication skills.

Compensation

Annual Pay Range: $90,625 - $117,243

Annual Incentive Target: 12.50%

The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the

minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will

be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills,

competencies, location, and experience. A+E offers a competitive total compensation
