Job Description

WICS is seeking motivated and enthusiastic college students to join our newsroom team as a News Intern. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the broadcast industry. Interns will gain hands-on experience working alongside professional journalists in a dynamic and fast-paced newsroom environment. This is an unpaid internship.

Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
• Pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field (preferred)
• Must be eligible to receive college credit for the internship (credit verification forms will be provided)
• Strong interest in the broadcast news industry
• Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

Additional Information:
• This is an unpaid internship.
• You MUST be eligible to receive college credit for the internship; credit verification forms will be provided
• Interns are expected to work between 10 to 20 hours per week, depending on their academic schedule.
